Outlook Email as default for Live messenger NOT Live Mail or Hotma

I'd like to know how to use my Outlook email as a default when emailing
contacts from Messenger.

I converted from my old Hotmail to the new Live Hotmail but in messenger I
want to default to Outlook to take advantage of my features etc.

Greetings KRH,

Unfortunately you can't if you're using a Hotmail.com or MSN.com Windows Live ID. It will
simply take you to the web site or if you have Windows Live Mail installed and you're signed
in on that Windows Live ID, take you to that.
