I have the latest version of WLM (Build 14.0.8064.0206) and XPSP3.
Thanks,

No I think they're still generating them!

Wisdom and experience come with age, they say, but I wish I could
remember the darn question
very simple work around is to highlight all messages in junk folder you want
deleted and drag them into deleted folder. works for me.

When I highlight all 12 of the messages and try to drag them to the Deleted
Folder, I get two error message boxes. The first one is the same as when I
try to delete a single message "An unknown error has occurred." Then, when
I close that dialogue box, I see "The selected message(s) could not be
moved" and also "An error has occurred."
Keep trying guys and gals,
Tom

I do have a POP3 account but in the message store, I see a Junk E-Mail
folder but it is empty.
In fact, I do have a strange setup and I don't know if it's normal or
abnormal. I have two different Junk-Emails along with two Inbox and Outbox.
One is in the Tom's Email as defined in my POP3 account. The other folders
(along with all my other subfolders) are under Storage Folders but none of
them (Junk, Outbox, Inbox) ever get anything in them.
At any rate, neither of the Junk E-mail folders has anything in it so I
don't know why I should have 12 messages in the Junk E-mail under Tom's
Email that will not delete. But, rather than uninstalling and reinstalling,
I am just resigned to live with it.
Unfortunately, I am having thoughts about dumping WLM altogether and going
with Outlook. Maybe that is their strategy. Just make the free version so
troublesome that people will gladly pay for a replacement.

May I ask how you know all that stuff? Are you an MVP or are you one of the
designers of the program or just a very smart participant on this forum? No
matter, because I really appreciate the input. I'll let you know if any of
them help.
Thanks,
Tom
