My email has been fine and then today I cannot send email. I receive, but
cannot send. This is the error message that I received: Windows Live Mail
Error ID: 0x800CCC0D; Protocol: SMTP; Port: 25; Secure(SSL): No; Socket
Error: 11001. I haven't changed any settings, has anyone had this problem?
How can I solve it?

It might just be a hiccup on the server end. I haven't heard of any outages
at Microsoft data center however.
If you haven't changed any settings then it's either something has gotten
corrupted or something server side (which you can't fix).
The first thing I'd do before re-installing is just wait and see if you can
send email a bit later. If it's urgent then you can always login to
hotmail.com and send it from there.

That's not the complete error message. For one thing, the server name is missing.
Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Could be a port 25 block. Tell us your email service provider, or SMTP
server name and we might be able to suggest an appropriate alternative.

11001 = Host not found
It mans that you have the wrong name for the SMTP mail server.
Look in Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties, Server.
