How can I switch from windows live back to msn hotmail?

The options button only changes from windows live to windows live full
version, but how about from windows live to msn hotmail?

MSN Hotmail is still there.

I use Hotmail which I normally access via Outlook 2003 with the MS Office
Outlook Connector. Presently, I can access the same emails via Windows Live
Mail, Hotmail and Outlook. They all have the same folders and emails. If
one is deleted in one program the deletion occurs in the others (after a
mail cycle with OL or WLM).

Incidently, I installed WLM on a second computer and it sync'd and is
identical to the others. It took a while on the first run to download all
the emails. Fortunately I have a 15/2M connection.

I have 2 accounts, the old one takes me to MSN Hotmail and I assure you it
still works great! The new account however, redirects me to Windows Live
Hotmail which is loaded with script errors and glitches. On the Live
interface, the opt out button for optional offers does not work, nor do the
account preference pages. It seems as though they have designed the new site
to be browser specific, in other words you must have the lastest version of
IE or you may not be able to use the site. In the Windows Live interface
there is no option to switch back.. though they have deliberately covered up
part of the inbox logo on my old account with an enourmous green button which
says, Get Windows Live Hotmail. Heh.. I browse a dozen sites a day and I
have no browser problems. Windows Live Hotmail is one of the worst sites I
have ever been to in my entire history of computer programming. To fix the
problems I have with the site and to opt out from the spam mail they send, I
would be forced to download the latest version of IE. One might suspect thier
intentions are criminal in this case. The old MSN hotmail works great, I just
used it this morning and praised them via the feedback form. They should
dissolve the entire staff at Windows Live Hotmail, and the entire site along
with them.. while returning Hotmail to MSN where it belongs!

Not sure why you are posting this here, since Windows Live Hotmail
is not a topic that is covered in this newsgroup.

Hotmail has two interfaces.  Hotmail **is** Windows Live Hotmail
Full or Classic.
Both are Windows Live Hotmail.

Classic has less features, no drag and drop and less configurable options the most notable among others.

The only other available option for a hotmail/live/msn.com account is Windows Live Hotmail Plus! @$20/yr, providing no ads and pop3/smtp capability. The latter only for non partner and non MSn Premium accounts.

Hmmm, perhaps MSFT "improved" Outlook Connector. I had assumed it would
delete email on the server, when it was deleted in the Inbox under Outlook
2003. However, today I had occassion to use the Live interface, and observed
thousands of emails in the Inbox. Some had been there as long as mid 2009. I
suspect that is a little longer than any cycle we users would expect...

XPSp3/Outlook 2003 with Outlook Connector latest version...deletion in either place (web UI or the account in the Outlook
Connector) updates the other after synchronization.

The OLC uses the DeltaSync protocol with the account separate entirely separate from the Outlook's main Inbox. A Hotmail account
can be setup in Outlook independent of the Outlook Connector as pop3 and configured to leave messages on the server.

Are you actually using the Outlook Connector in Outlook ?
or
Are you using Windows Live Mail ?
- WLM does not require the Outlook Connector.
