Getting Rid of Hotmail Account

I thought I'd see if I could access my hotmail account (which I never use)
in Windows Live Mail Desktop. This was only done out of curiosity as I
don't really use this account for anything. It seemed to work. But then I
noticed that all of my contacts (imported from OE6 when I installed WLMD)
had disappeared. I decided to remove the Hotmail account to see if that
would bring my contacts back (it didn't, and I'll make another post about
that). Anyway, the hotmail account has been removed from WLMD, but now
every time I start WLMD it asks me for a Windows Live username and password.
I don't want to use WLMD with a Windows Live/Hotmail account. How can I get
WLMD to stop prompting me for a Windows Live sign-in?

Tools, Options, Connection, Stop Signing In.
Restart WLM, and it should bring back your old contacts.

When you sign in, WLM uses the set of contacts associated with
that sign-in account.

Tools, Options, Connection. Click the Stop Signing In button.

That should help with your contacts. When you sign-in among other
things, that says to use those contacts.

Thanks. I looked through the options dialog many times, but missed those
buttons every time somehow.
