Window Live Mail

Help! I can send e-mail but cannot receive. I've checked properties,
connections, etc., but to no avail. (In Hotmail I can send & receive) Any
sugggestions?

Does your post mean
You can not receive email in any account including your Hotmail account in WLM and can receive when accessing the Hotmail account
in the web interface(mail.live.com)
or
You can receive email in all accounts except Hotmail in WLM and Hotmail works when accessing the web interface.

Can you provide the full errror message(number and corresponding text)

WLM Support
1. Logon to http://account.live.com using your Windows Live ID, the cut and paste one the following urls to your browsers address
bar, the press the enter key

or
https://support.live.com/eform.aspx?productKey=wlmaildesktop&ct=eformts

2. Click on the first item in the left hand pane FAQ List(e.g. click on How do I install and run WLM for the first time) then allow
that item to load in the right hand pane
3. Look in lower right, click on 'Get more Help', allow that page to load
4. Click on 'Get Support', the e-form will load.

Note..Logging one with your Live ID in step 1 at account.live.com should also ensure that your account's Full name and email
address fields are automatically filled in on the e-form

Hotmail Support
Hotmail Online Solutions Center
- requires creation of a username/pw that will also be linked to a Live ID
- Live ID username is **Not** visible to the public
- Do **Not** use the same password for the Solution Center Account that's used for your Live ID

I think you are asking where is the stupid "send/receive button". It appears
they forgot the most basic part of mail. I have looked everywhere for it as
well. I am starting to hate "live" more each day.

The Send/Receive button was renamed to "Sync".
