ok, like a dunce, I went to the windows live website and added my
primary email account to forward to my hotmail account, thinking
that's the way i should do it, because i didn't see anyway to set up
just my primary account from the website [cloud] version.
then i realized i should have downloaded the windows live mail to my
computer and setup the primary account there.
i did that, but now i'm getting duplicate emails: to the primary i set
up on the windows live mail, AND to the hotmail account which has the
forwarding setup.

problem is... I don't see any way to remove the forwarding. How does
one do this?

just to clarify, i don't want my primary dave@______.com being
forwarded to my hotmail account.

win7 64 ultimate if it matters at all....

thanks for any help

Logon at mail.live.com with your Live ID (hotmail account username/password)
Click Options/More Options/Send and Receive mail from other e-mail accounts
Remove the dave@___.com address from 'You can receive... and You can send... '
Logoff Hotmail
