Until yesterday, when windows vista did an update, when I wanted send mail,
I had my Windows Mail or Outlook Express type of contacts with all the
groups I have had for years, now when I want to send mail, I have the
groupings that windows messenger uses, and if I have delete that sign in in
I have no groups at all.
When I look in my contacts folder, using windows explorer all my groups are
there in the contacts folder.
I can not seem to import that list into Windows live mail.

Have you tried saving your old contacts as a WAB file then importing to WLM
(from the contact view?).

You should be able to import your contacts from both the Windows store and
from outlook express.
Click on Tools/Contacts to open your contacts pane.
Then over on the right hand side, click the dropdown and select File/Import
then select which store you wish to import from.

I can import the contacts.
I am using Vista Ultimate.
I can not import my groups or distribution groups that I have in outlook,
outlook express and windows mail.
I have about 50 groups which would be a lot to recreate, and they were there
until windows performed an update a couple of days ago.

Hi, Alton.

When I click on Family, it shows that Ron is a member of that Group. But,
when I click on Ron, there's no indication that he's a member of ANY Group.

Will that be fixed in the next release, too? (I'm using WLM 12.0.1184.)
