This used to be an option in Outlook but can't see it in Live Mail

Sure.... Windows Live Mail will open in the folder last used. Make sure
you are in the "inbox" when shutting mail down and it will open there
next time.

That does not change the view from the last folder you were in when you
closed WLMail.

The actual location of the wlmail.exe may vary depending on your version
of Windows. Just add the /mail to whatever you find.
WLM will open to the Inbox of your default mail account.

I may be misremembering, but I think Ron Sommer wrote that you could append a /mail switch to the shortcut you use to launch the program. For example, "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Mail\wlmail.exe" /mail should deliver you to the inbox of your default account. Please post back to say whether this works or not.

There must be one or more spaces after the program name and before the
/mail. The slash is critical.
