http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/outlookcom/first-look-outlook-com-on-office-365/
"When your account is migrated [from Outlook.com to Outlook Mail],
you'll need to remove the account from Outlook and add it back to your
profile as an Exchange account."
So Deltasync is out and replaced with EAS (with POP and IMAP still
usable, for now).
"Basically, everything that Outlook 2013 EAS users complained about is
fixed by the switch to Office 365."
Uh uh. One deficiency of EAS is that you cannot set the reminder
interval when configuring a calendar event. You may set 10 minutes or 2
days or whatever but instead you get 1 hour in the event defined in your
online account. EAS didn't handle defining the reminder period so you
got the default when new events are created online: 1 hour. Unless "the
switch to Office 365" also introduces a new version of EAS, "some things
that Outlook 2013 EAS users complained about" will still be a problem.
