And it works as of my test on a Windows Live Hotmail Plus
account...which generates a few comments.
1. Doing so does not download the Junk Mail, thus a web site logon/visit
is required to view mail filtered as 'junk' that should not be
2. The junk filter settings, address filters, safe and blocked etc on
the web site remain intact
3. Use of local rules in OE, OL, WM, or WLM may be advisable.
And the last which raises a different type of question and potential
4. Current legacy pop3 account holders with either (a) a dial up account
and a alternate isp(cable, dsl etc) or (b) a bring your own isp account
that is not partnered then a cancellation which converts to a free
account, and conversion to Live Hotmail Plus would be beneficial though
subject to the loss of the other included features ?
