Can Outlook 2007 download all the emails from my Hotmail / Live account? If
yes, how do I set it up?

I'm using Windows XP Professional 64 bits, with SP2 installed.

Thank you and kind regards.

So I have Outlook 2007 installed and the MS Connector as well. They both are
working fine. However, how can I download the emails and folders into my
local machine PC?
Sorry, I'm quite new with this. Thank you for your patience.

You posted to a newsgroup which specializes in support for the Windows
Live Mail program.
You will get more help by posting that question in the Outlook newsgroup:

Email from a Hotmail account downloaded in Outlook 2007 when using the Outlook Connector is stored in a separate pst file for each
Hotmail account. The file resides on your machine in your 'user profile' in a subfolder(called Outlook)
In Vista: C:\Users\<your windows logon ID>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
In XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<your windows logon ID>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

The pst file and its contents are only accessible in Outlook.
If you wish to save these messages separate from the pst file you've two options
a. drag the messages to a separate folder in Windows Explorer(they will be saved with an *.msg extension and only open in Outlook)
b. Save the messages or as group to a txt file(they can be opened in any txt file reading application like Notepad, WordPad, Word
etc). Saving as a text file will strip any html code, formatting and attachments
