Writing in Word, a very handy tool is to be able to put the cursor on text,
hit the paintbrush icon, and then move the cursor over other text and it is
formatted like the original text. I'm brand new to WLM. Does it have
something equivalent?

No.
That's why Word is so much more expensive than Windows Live Mail.

Hi Gary,

Well, WLV is certainly worth its price, I'll admit that. For those
developing it (I gather you are on the team from all your posts?), I have
four simple formatting suggestions from a humble user new to the program:

1. Format painter (Eudora, which I've just left, had this; it is not
only in Office)

2. Format remover (another great Eudora feature).

3. On numbering or bullets, allow line spaces between the items, like
these.

4. Font color -- click icon to get last color used.

Overall, I'm very impressed.

Thank you!

David

No, I don't work for Microsoft, nor am I on the Windows Live Mail team.
See the URL in my sig for an explanation of the MVP program.

I will grant you that there are other email clients with specific features
not available in Windows Live Mail.
