The "Protocol: NNTP" says that the problem is with a News account, not
Hotmail.

Go to Tools, Accounts, News, Account, Properties, General and Uncheck
the option to include that account when checking for new messages. Then
try checking your mail again.

ok...now running 14.0.8064.0206...now it just wont connect...it doesnt error
out (at least not yet, Ive let it sit there for about 10 minutes...is
constantly on the "not connected" but has yet to error out)
using server http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v1.0.0/sync.aspx
any other ideas?
