I'll try to get another MVP that can answer my question. It's real simple:

Why are my 2008 messages missing from both the inbox and folders in WLM, yet
messages from 2009, 2007, 2006, etc. are in their respective folders and
inbox?

Thanks for your help in this matter.

You reposted and left out important information.
I can no longer view 2008 saved messages in WLM, however if I log into
Hotmail via a Web browser I can see the messages. I can view 2009 and even
2007, 2006, etc.

In WLMail, Tools, Accounts, Properties, Server tab, is this a pop3 or http
account?

Hi Ron,

I'm accessing via HTTP or the the default Hotmail account setup when I
installed WLM using the Windows Live (Passport) wizard. Here is the info:

http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx

Ron,

I used the WLM wizard to setup my account. It mapped it to the Hotmail HTTP
server using this URL:

http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx

Thanks,

Will
