Hotmail account

Hello. I have two hotmail accounts that I cannot access. They are auto-filled
with id and password. When I attempt to sign in, I get a message that says
the id is incorrect. It's to the point where I would like to cancel them, but
since I can't get in to either of them, I don't know how to do so. Can anyone
please help me with this?

How long has it been since you accessed this account and how was it done ?

its been months since the account was accessed. i signed in by clicking on
the ID and the password was already filled in, i cant sign into it
period....its the same on msn messenger, name is there and password......but
wont sign in....

The account may have been marked inactive or deleted.
No amount of logging in with an application(WLMsgr) or browser(IE) can rectify that situation.

You'll have to contact Hotmail Support.

Hotmail Online Solutions Center
- requires creation of a username/pw that will also be linked to a Live ID
- Live ID username is **Not** visible to the public
- Do **Not** use the same password for the Solution Center Account that's used for your Live ID
- a new Live ID is required if the old(inactive/deleted)won't function

2. Close A Hotmail account

- login with the username/pw, then click close

3. Cancel a Live ID
Go to account.live.com to cancel the Live ID

Note: if pursuing 2 and 3, 2 must be done before 3 or the process will fail.
