Hi,

I want to develop a plugin for Windows Live Mail. I see that there is no
development API to do it.
But I see here:
http://blog.nektra.com/main/2009/04/27/windows-live-mail-undocumented-api-research/

that they are able to add a toolbar and access the storage.

Does anyone know how to do it?

thanks,
peter

You basically need to disassemble. Visual Studio helps greatly. Depending on
what type of plug-in your are looking to do depends on which API's and
method calls you would use.
I'm afraid there is no easy way find out this information except
dis-assembling.

What kind of plug-ins are you interested in developing?

We don't currently expose APIs for writing plug-ins, but this is something
we could add in the future (it's an idea that's been tossed around several
times). You should use the "Send feedback" option in the Help menu and
submit this request for further visibility.

Thanks for using Windows Live Mail!

I want to develop a toolbar and some interaction with storage. A customer is
asking to do this but I do not want to do any reverse.

Thank you for your responses.
