I have desktop and laptop networked at home. I use Live Mail on desktop with
Win xp 3s and also laptop with Vista. How can or can I sync my email
messages. I get the same emails on both machines but they are not in sync -
totally independent of each other.

I assume your using POP3 email? If so then you can't really "sync" the two
but you can replicate the Inbox to both by going into your settings to tell
each client to Leave Email On Server then Delete From Server After say 14
days. This way both machines will download a copy of the new email yet will
clean up the POP3 server.

Other options are to switch to an IMAP server. Contact your ISP/Email
Provider to see if they support IMAP.
