password to hotmail account

I am trying to access a hotmail account, and i can't remember my password.
When i follow the process to get my password, the automated system sends my
password to the same hotmail account, which i can't access. How do i get my
password so i can resume using my account?

What site are you trying to get your password from? You may have to contact
Microsoft Help/Feedback to get it straightened out...
