>What is the correct server name to use for checking my Hotmail with Outlook 2003? It keeps saying it can't find server.
If you have a free Hotmail account, you cannot access it via POP/SMTP and you
will need to use Windows Live Mail (http://get.live.com), a free client that
will automatically configure http access to @hotmail, @msn, and @live email
addresses and keep your mail in sync on multiple computers and the server. You
can also use the Outlook Connector to access the account in Outlook -

(Outlook 2003 and 2007)
You cannot use Outlook Express to access a free Hotmail account unless it is an
older account and then it will be via http unless it is a very old legacy
account.
If you have a paid hotmail account, you can use POP/SMTP to access your Hotmail
account in any email client.
