I'm sure I've seen this before but I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix
it....
When I send email using the web front end for hotmail it all works OK and
mail gets delivered as expected. However, when I use outlook or outlook
express, even though it goes into the sent folder it can take from 2-20 days
to get delivered.
Heres an email header of one I sent to my own domain which is forwarded back
to my hotmail account. As you can see, for some reason the hotmail server
held on to it for 8 hours or so...
Any ideas ?

Some say mail to addressees who are also in your Contacts list isn't as
affected. YMMV.

Thanks for the info....
This is very poor indeed. Basically, I'm at the stage where I can't rely on
hotmail delivering my mail fo me !
Paul
Tell Hotmail about it: sup...@hotmail.com & sup...@msn.com.
YW.

Up to this point, Hotmail has been very dependable. Let's hope that this
all has to do with the changes Hotmail is going through regarding storage
upgrades, etc. But the problem is very frustrating, and I have already
started setting up free Yahoo accounts as backups in the event of continued
difficulties.

Free? Well. Maybe but some of us do pay for the upgrade....
