Why does OE open to my identity after I click cancel on the enter password
dialogue box?

I am unable to post this group (tried twice already).
-- Running Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1106; WIN XP Pro

I cannot switch identities (yesterday during the day only once it worked). I
upgraded
from WIN 98SE yesterday, managed to copy my emails into two identities;
switched once and now I am "stuck" in my main identities. When I select the
other one, it asks if I want to keep the same connection, I say O.K. and it
gives me again my main identity. I cannot get to the emails of the other
identity.
Please help!

Try pressing the F1 key before switching. This will open Help (which
you can then minimize) and switch identity should then work.

Or, you can visit windows update and update your version of IE/OE to the
most current. Your choice.
