How do you import addresses from Hotmail to OE?

And has anyone else noticed how bad hotmail is nowadays? I keep getting the
busy server errors, and my OE has issues trying to download messages. Will
this ever be fixed, or should I just switch to GMail like all my friends are.

Open Address Book and look in Tools | Synchronize Now

Hotmail is working fine for me that last several years. Must be something
wrong with your computer. Spyware and such, ever defrag or perform any
maintenance on it (and not from the PC Doctor type BS software)?

Previously you used to be able to use a hotmail addy through OE. Anyone who
hadn't had it setup previously though no longer can use OE for access as
hotmail has now made that a PAY service.
Your choices are either switch from hotmail, suffer the busy server, log
directly in via the web or *shock* pay for the grand service of the busy
server errors to download to OE ;)

...assuming the Hotmail account is running in OE.

I'm glad hotmail is working good for you... you don't know how happy that
makes me.

on my end, it used to work flawlessly. Now, I can't use OE at all and it
says that the server is too busy. When I log in directly through the web
page, its a crap shoot if I get the server busy page, but I'm getting it alot
lately.

FYI, I defrag once a month, and run the Norton 2003 stuff usually every week.

The only avenue is www.hotmail.com > Help > Contact Us (or cancel your
credit card payment).

And why in the world would they make hotmail unaccesbile to OE. Surely
Microsoft can't be hurting for money... what a joke.

Yeah... won't be giving microsoft any money to use a web mail account. I'd
rather make the switch to something else. Good luck hotmail.

It's ostensibly to stop spammers.
