I have an issue with a 3rd party app that integrates with
Outlook Express. The tool automatically generates an
email that gets sent out through OE. I want the tool to
send the email to a contact list, not a specific email
address.

The problem is that OE keeps trying to append a domain to
the end of the contact 'group' I put in as the address.
Are there special characters I need to put in the address
to get OE to realize I am trying to use a contact list
instead of an email address?

to divine what this app might be? And how it might be interfering?

Why not just use the language and tell us what it is you want to do,
completely and with details, and *maybe* someone who has been there can help
you. As it is, you're just asking for crystal ball gazing.
