What is Outlook XP? Never heard of it. OE6 is the latest version. You
*might* want to look at this, although I have no idea what you did.

No Accounts in Tools drop-down box:

Go to Start>Run>Type: regedit. Locate this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express

On the right-hand side of the page, double click: *No modify accts* value.
{If this value does not exist, on the Edit menu, click DWORD Value. Type: No
modify accts, and press Enter to save the name}.

Change the setting of this value from 1 to 0, click OK.

That should put it back in the drop-down box.

If you have any problems with those instructions, this is a direct registry
modification download that will also put it back:

Thank you!

I followed the instructions and it now appears in the menu.
However, when I chick on accounts, noting happens.
How do I make the accounts window appear when I chick on accounts that now
appears in the tools menu?

Tools | Accounts. Do you see the choices:

All | Mail | News | Directory Service?

If not, what do you see?

You're welcome, & thanks for the feedback. I'll make a note that a reboot
may be necessary.
