OT-Album Art-

Does anyone know ,why,and how the following happens:
I use dMC to convert my music,into a file C:/Converted Music.
I have XP Home,WMP9,if I look in the file all there is there is/are asf and
wma files,BUT,when I use my ftp to transfer files to my web site,in the file
C:/Converted Music are all these BMPs of Album Art,the Album Covers of music
I've converted,but I cannot access them at all,done a search including
hidden folders and they don't show up !.
Anyone understand this ??

I used to get all the album art, too... had to unselect something in WMP to
stop it. Cripe, it fills up your music folders!
I don't know why they don't show up in your search... do you have "show all
files" in your folder options selected? I do and they all show.

Thanks Paul,I realised what they were,just surprised they showed up on my
"Cute FTP",and also on the Music files I shared on Janet's PC.
Thanks for advice I think I'll just leave them as they are (smile)

That is the album art that will be displayed when you play songs in MP9 if
you choose album art as a visualization or in the playlist pane. See picture
below.

They are hidden, system files and if you choose to view them as files, you
can by unchecking these two items in /My Computer/Tools/Folder Options/View
Tab. Typical album art will take about 13Kb of space with the three jpg
files that it creates for album art. This is not really a lot of space with
the size of today's hard drives. Without them, you would not be able to view
the album art in MP9. These are not just "hidden files", "they are protected
operating system files" and you have to uncheck both items in order to see
them in Windows Explorer.

Of course they show up in CuteFTP. CuteFTP will show hidden files, the program is designed to show all files.
