I have used outlook express for several years with success. My last windows
upgrade (XP SrvP3) stated Express was no more so I started using Outlook. The
past month I have had problems. Now I can't even send an attachment. I tried
to go back to Outlook Express and my PC won't allow the retrieval.

Again, Charter was of no help. Charter tech said they do not support Outlook.

Can any one provide a cure?

If you don't like Outlook then you should try using Windows Live Mail (WLM) from
Microsoft:

WLM is very much similar to Outlook Express so transition would be simpler.

If you have Windows XP, then you can easily use OE. XP Service Pack 3 does
not remove OE. Try going to Control Panel | Programs and set OE as the
defalt mail program and then it should work fine.

You might have other problems or software installed that are responsible for
the disfunctions you are experiencing.

Office Outlook? Even if this was the right newsgroup for that you
would have to be clear about which version and maintenance level
you have installed.

What does that mean? I suspect you are trying to interpret some symptoms
that only you can see and now are only giving us a vague summary
of your ideas. Remember, your words have to substitute for what
our eyes might notice.

Not here. You're posting in a newsgroup which has been long obsolete.
Post in a newsgroup which contains outlook only in its name if you have
questions about using Office Outlook. Post in Outlookexpress General
for help with OE. In either case make sure that your details are complete
and your questions are clear.
