My computer is running on Windows 98( 1st edition). I have
installed IE 6 but there seems to be a problem. When i
enter a website and click on links shown on the website,
the browser doesn't respond. It only respond when i type
in the address in the URL space. I have clicked on all
links on countless websites but all don't work. Is there
any way to solve the problem?
Warmest regards,
Anderson
Go to Start|Run and enter "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotes). After
you get a Success message, re-boot. If that doesn't work, then check out
the following article and do the additional steps outlined there that you
haven't already tried:
You Cannot Open New Internet Explorer Window or Nothing Happens After You

Under the Program Files directory you mean?
FWIW in XP it's called "Internet Explorer".
It seems to be stored all over the place depending on your OS.
I don't have OP's OS. I'd suggest a Win-F file find.
