I'm installing DSL for a friend tomorrow who has AOL for his ISP. I
plan to uninstall AOL and AOL adapters before the DSL install. I've
never even seen AOL in action, and am wondering what to do about saving
his *favorites*, will I lose them when I uninstall? Does AOL use IE
with just it's name on it or have they changed it somehow? Anything
that anybody can help me with prior to uninstalling will be most
appreciated.

Hi ~Sage :-)

What can you take with you?

Courtesy of Robear Dyer -

AOL Bookmarks, yes. AOL Addresses, yes. Messages, no. (That's how they
try to hang on to you, BTW.)

See AOL Leave information here:

Hope this helps :-)
