Does anyone know of any fax software or programs that I could download that
will work with a dsl connection? Most seem dependent on a modem
connection. Thanks in advance...all help is appreciated.

At the present time a phone line is required to fax a message. You can not
fax via DSL or Cable modems. You can enable the faxing software application
in XP by going to Control Panel and clicking on Add/Remove Windows
Components. The way it works is by using your scanner to scan in a hard
copy and sending it or by simply faxing from an application like Word.
