can't open text editor: --> View --> Content from the browser menu

I can't open text editor: --> View --> Content from the
browser menu at the top.
In normal practice, we can check the html codes from the
above process, but I can't do it with my browser.
I tried to remove the IE and reinstall it, but the symptom
remained as before.
Anyone can help me? Thanks a lot.

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.
