Please do not post all in CAPS. It is the equivalent of SHOUTING in
terms of Netiquette (i.e.bad manners),

For your problem the attached link may contain the solution:

Hope this helps.

Thank you but no luck.
1-I've e-mailed both hot mail, and passport . and they both said it's an
internet explorer problem.
2-I've entered my passport sight, through user accounts and it's all correct.
3-Under internet options, hot mail is my default mail.
4-Security is reset to default.
5-Privacy is reset to default.
THANK YOU FOR TRYING, I WILL NOT QUIT.

Try removing the Passport account and resetting it?

Hmm... Have you by any chance stopped some services arbitrarily?
(Windows Management Instrumentation in particular.)

Perhaps there is an entry in the Event log for this too?
(You haven't disclosed your OS so I'm assuming it is NTx.)

Good luck

Thank You but no luck. I did what the message board said twice, about
deleating and regestering with msn passport. I suspect it might be a windows
update but have no way of knowing. thank you again for trying. I WILL NOT
GIVE UP.

Hmmm....this message just showed up here with a date/time stamp that's about
2 days behind - check your system's date/time. If it's off, it can cause
Passport and other log-in issues. Also, go to your account's Cookies folder
and delete all related Passport, MSN, Hotmail, etc. cookies.
