I can't delete an address from from the address line in
Internet Explorer 6. I tried deleting the history,
cookies, & temp files. Any suggestions

Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder(s).

To use the DOS method to clear your TIF
Insert your WinMe bootdisk and restart
Select: "Minimal" from the menu
From A:\> (type and press Enter after each command)
(Win98 = Restart in Dos Mode)
C:
cd\windows
smartdrv
deltree tempor~1
deltree history
deltree temp
Remove the bootdisk and restart (Ctrl-Alt-Del)
