Modal createPopup window

Dear readers,

I'm having a little problem with the popups that are generated by the
createPopup function. I want the popup to be visible (modal would be ok too)
until the user presses a button. At the moment the popup dissapears whenever
I click on any other element outside the popup. Making the popup fullscreen
is not an option... ;)

I hope this is possible and someone can tell me how.
