Hi,

I am having a problem with the following:

<span style="font-size: 24px; line-height: normal">large black font<span
style="color: red">large red font</span></span>

The "large red font" actually appears as small red, i.e. span within span is
not working. I do have some css stuff before this, but should it not
produce the right effect?

Same problem in IE and FireFox.

On that note, I am suspecting that a prior defined id selector is affecting
this. Would that be the case, and if so, how do I fix it..

That completely depends on what you have in your other CSS. Anticipating the
correct actual value in CSS always is a challenging task.
