Just recently started learning CSS with HTML, I have used HTML for about 8-9
years, but never really bothered to use CSS (mainly as didnt really know it
existed, since I just got around things with HTML - badly!).
Now recently bought a few bits of web design software - Serif box set of Web
Plus 8, PhotoPlus 8 and ImpactPlus 4, and also easyGen 2.

On preferences I find easyGen 2 easier to work with is as it allows me to
import existing HTML and view as HTML whilst edited etc, however I am trying
to design a web page (series of web pages) which have a menu bar down the
side which is consistant across the pages.

My existing one page has the menu bar correctly down the right side, but I
know this should be in the CSS, and referenced and called by each page,
however I am having problems getting my head round how to do this.
The buttons on the menu are using javascript for the three states of the
button, the buttons and links are in a table with references to the
onmouseover, onmousedown and onmouse out, the images for the buttons are
also in these lines also. What I am trying to learn is how to put the
buttons table and the java in the css sheet, and then call it from the main
html, also positioning it, if anyone can assist me I would be most grateful,
as then I can learn by example :)
I am happy to send my one page of HTM and any code to the person who can
help :)
