I have a form that has three buttons on it. One button is to view the page, one
is to download the page into a text file, and the third is to download the file
into Excel.
On my test server it all works fine as long as I save the file (I can't tell it
to open the file). But on the production server (which is a secure server), the
file won't download at all (although the HTML view is fine). It gives an error
message saying it can't connect to the server. The server may be unavailable.
What happens is the Form is posted to an ASP page that changes the content type
before it returns the information. I'm not sure why this wouldn't work...since
it works on the test server and it also works in Netscape.
If you could help me out, or point me in the right direction, I'd greatly
appreciate it,
