100% wide div won't cover screen

I set a div box with 100% width and height. But there remains I
estimate, a 10 pixel strip of the underlying window showing through on
the right hand side. It doesn't occur on NN6.2. I set the margin to 0
in case there was some default there but no luck. Any ideas anyone?
