I use IE6 and CSS to format a table. My goal - so it looks to be one ;-) -
is to format the first column to a fixed width, but found no way. I am
pretty sure, I've done that with earlier versions of the browser without
problems. I tried to use my standard-way, give the first column in the
header a class and write the css-class for it. It does'nt work! I tried to
use COLGROUPs without success. Does someone knows of such problem with IE
and/or has possibly a sample?
BTW, I've used the HTML4 strict header, but tried even others, without
success.

I can answer my own question, becuase it could be of interest:WIth
IE V6.0.2800.1106
it works as expected, so this is still one of IEs bugs :-(
