The only way I can think right now is to dynamically alter the style
or className of the element in question each time the abled status
switches. Not an elegant solution.
But it 's an interesting problem. Let 's hope for some brighter minds.

I am not sure I understand the question, a disabled form item isn't
styled differently than an abled form item.

I have this problem since a long time , and I'm very happy to see you are
talking about it !

Why it's no possible to decide the right style for a disabled item; better
will be to decide the right style for the all disabled items.
Because for default a disabled item has the grey color ! and that's no good,
because I want to use this attribute with input that contain the string wich
explain a code on his side.

I could use the attribute readonly, but I want that tabindex fly away
forgetting this control.

So it would be great to be able to modify the style of a disabled control.
