Select lists: using the same list multiple times

I have multiple lists on my document, all of which contain the same items
(and always will contain the same list items). Because the lists are made up
of about 25 items, they take up a reasonable amount of extra space. It is
also a pain to have to separately add a new item to all the lists when a new
item is added. Is there any possible way to create multiple lists which all
use the same items (without creating them separately)?
