I received this message when opening Outlook Express:
"Ddhelp has caused an error in GDI32.DLL. Ddhelp will now close."
It also appeared when opening IE.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like you may have a problem with either your video adapter card or with your version of DirectX. Look in Device Manager (right click My Computer icon, select Properties) to check the video card installed and then check with the manufacturer's website to see if newer drivers are available. Users of ATI and Nvidia cards have experienced similar types of problem.

For DirectX, click on the Start/Run and type DXDIAG and hit the Enter key. Check the version number at the bottom of the box that will come up to determine your version of DirectX that you have installed. Version 8 is now current and can be downloaded at: www.microsoft.com/directx
