Hi all,

Recently I created some very simple new Stationery for my e-mail use,
coloured background - Navy - with Aqua text and Times New Roman font. Plus
three or four others in different (and equally beautiful <BG>) similar ones.
They all worked just fine when selected until this past few days when no
matter what I tried the text colour always reverted to blue (in Rich Text
mode of course) and still does.

Just prior to that happening whilst continuing to be able to send or receive
e-mails, I was totally unable to access the net. This I resolved by
uninstalling and reinstalling OE 5.5 but the text reversion remains.

If there are any folk out there who can offer a solution I would be
grateful. for an apparently simple fault it is slowly driving me ga ga. Yes,
I have checked and re-checked my settings and all seem to be correct.

Thanks

Ray Medford

Post an example.  The only think I can think of that might be your problem is the way you are applying stationery.  If you use Format, Apply stationery, OE wants to revert to your default font.  To avoid this use Message, New message using or click on the little triangle just to the right of the New message button and the selection box will come up for you to choose your stationery.
