When I try to connect to the Internet by using AOL or my
cable modem, I cannot connect to the internet. After
calling both my computer manufacturer and cable company,
the problem still isn't resolved. I was told by the cable
company that I have a winsock error 10047 that was keeping
me from using the net. Can anyone help me with this
problem?

Hi Simone,
Its nice of your cable company to tell you what the error number is. I hope
that one day those guys will start telling people the fix as well.

your winsock errors:
