Searching form data from browser

Hello:
I've got a simple page with a table of data that make up the form. I
initialize all the edit fields in the form with data. When the page
containing the form displays in the browser, the form data is not searchable
(via Ctrl-F key in the browser). The data on the page not in the form is
searchable.

Is this by design? Is there a way I can specify in my (HTML) form data that
I want the data to be searchable?
