I am trying to limit my kids' access to their favorite game sites by
blocking them with content advisor so they don't get sidetracked
playing games when they're supposed to be doing schoolwork. I have 3
computers I have done this to, and it works perfectly on two of them.
On one, however, it blocks access and asks for the password if you type
in the whole web address, but if you select it from the autocompleted
list in the address bar or from the history, it doesn't ask for the
password. On the other two computers, even if you select the address
from the recently visited sites, it still asks for the password. What
is different and what can I change to make it block the sites I want
blocked? Needless to say, my kids figured this out right away.

See this article for possible help:

The Internet Explorer Content Advisor does not correctly screen out
objectionable content
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913501/en-us

IE may be pulling those pages from the TIF - check your cache settings at
Tools...Internet Options...General tab, Settings button and set to something
other than "Never.... Also on the General tab clear your History and TIF.
