icon for my bookmarked homepage

Perhaps a stupid webtrick, but I want to know how it's
done. How can a get it to work that people who bookmarked
my site see an icon of my making. For instance when you
bookmark www.pzc.nl you see a sort of tomato in your
bookmarks. I also want something like that.
Can anybody tell me. I know it's a little trick and ive
seen it arround but now i just cant find it anywhere

All you need is a 16X16 icon, stored in your root directory, named
favicon.ico Try here:

They have a free utility that makes your icon, just make sure it's 16X16
(the default size seems to be 32X32, strange because this program is made
for this very reason). After that, you just need to FTP or publish your icon
to the root directory of your website, save your website in 'Favorites" and
that's it.
