File downloads in IE6.0 under SSL

Long story short I am unable to download a file using Response.BinaryWrite
running under SSL and I am seeking any advice anyone may have.

Is it possible that your web page is sending HTTP header
"Cache-control:no-cache" or "Pragma:no-cache"?

I can reproduce this issue by adding following code:

Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.NoCache);

Walter, your correct. This was preventing the download and now my web form
works just fine. I removed this from the web form during testing with no luck
and I removed it from the base page however it was defined twice in the base
page. Once all references were removed it worked fine.

I still find it stange that under IE6 it did not work at all and with
FireFox 1.5 the download worked perfectly.

If you take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/812935/, it's a bug
in IE 6.0 sp1. It only occurs when "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is
selected in IE and server sends "Cache-Control: No Cache" or
"Cache-Control: No Store".

The KB has a hotfix for IE6. Without the hotfix, we can workaround it by
either unselect the option in IE or server doesn't set the Cache-Control
header using "No Cache" or "No Store".
