Send email via command line using Outlook Express

I've searched to no avail for an answer to this question.

I'm trying to set-up basic monitoring on a server and want to email
results/alerts to my pager.

I have looked at the following link: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=192341
which tells me how to create an email just fine. But, it leaves the email
message window open without sending the email. Is there some switch that I'm
missing for it to send the email? Or, is this not even possible?
