got in at 1 am. I left for NY at 6am the very next morning. From there
I had to take a cab to the church. No one to pick me up obviously. The
cab got in an accident and I barely made the departing funeral. If I had
missed it, I would have totally missed it because the grave site was an hour
and a
half away in NJ,
I knew when I got in the cab I was going to be in an accident. Don't
ask me why. The guy was blond and about 40and definitely not nuts.
Definitely not American. Polish I think. Anyway, I didn't get that feeling
from him.
I just got the feeling. So we were stopped totally still right after
the tunnel in the middel of 9 am rush hour and somebody plowed into us. Only
thing happened was the bumper came off. I was sitting sideways, scared
the whole time, so i didn't absorb as much of the impact as if I had
been sitting normally, but my back did hurt the whole next week. I had to
leave
the very next day of course,
my uncle - the one with diabetes...Older people have this,
they often don't know it. It is called Type II and is an aging thing.
They get hungrier and gain weight. Not like the diabetics who get it when
they
are younger and need shots.
This kind of diabetes usually can be controlled with diet alone, if the
adult is very careful to watch what they eat.
My mother and her brother both got it at the same time, the same year,
though they are 6 years apart.
My mother is very careful about what she eats, and her diabetes has all
but disappeared.
Her brother though eats the crap his wife the looon cooks.
She would rather make something in a package because it takes 10minutes and
is
instant even though the real thing takes 5 mintutes and is healthier.
The things that come in envelopes that are allegedly instant - they are
deadly full of heart disease and diabetes aggravating sugar and salt, notto
mention very potent chemicals
lately she told us she considers things in cans FRESH.
I don't think I will ever get over how uninformed she is and how much she
contributed to this death
Rae rae was only 32, she was extremely obese, and as a black person probably
even more prone to hypertension
she was a great person, a hard worker, i served as a her mentor
i am blown away not only by the fact that she died as a young person but
that it took more than 48 hours to figure out she was missing, as she has an
extended network here in the neighborhood
Diabetes II adult onset is the kind that sits kinda quietly
and causes the older adult to gain some weight, but not notice anything til
one
day, their bodies go into crises situations. In my mother's case, she
had an adrenal tumor which made her thyroid go nuts and so her sugar went
nuts. My uncle, did not discover diabetes til he went
into shock during a heart attack.
Very similar story
Except that rest of the story. He appeared to be very fragile and i never
figured it out til he died
i don't believe in god but I will be praying for rae rae him and the soul
